'Ignorance is bliss' is not a theoretical analysis of the dangers that threaten the western church, but a spirited, practical, and Biblical consideration of matters about which action can be taken.

It starts by looking at the true root of the problem, not only misunderstood by many Christians, but even dismissed by some ministers who ought to know better. That root is satan himself, and the book shows the ways in which individual Christians should deal with him and his host. It reveals also how satan works within churches and Christian organisations, and covers a broad range of matters that can be put right.

The book considers as well contemporary and important issues regarding Christian attitudes to Israel and to Islam.

The teaching included in this book makes it important reading for all Christians. Those who are Christian ministers and leaders should especially be concerned to consider its contents carefully.

Once again another excellent work from Robert J Emery, reading in to his work we soon discover this Man’s passion for discernment and truth.

Here he expresses concern for a serious lack of spiritual truth, and wisdom in the church in general, together with a dire need for Bible knowledge .

We also see his concern for the many who are being misled and deceived spiritually, evident here is his eagerness to enlighten them with the truth and expose the snares of deception, so evident in the compromised church system, and in society as a whole.

Through these pages one notices that the whole armour of Ephesians 6 is made good use of, so much needed in this day and age of apostasy, where sadly religious people are not thinking but just following.

A highly recommended reading.

Ignorance is bliss and it's killing us by RJ Emery.
The author takes us on a tour of the pitfalls and dangers of ignorance as a Christian. I especially enjoyed chapter 5 which is about how an overly self focused culture leads us to a warped view of the cross of Christ.
Another highlight for me was the double-barelled chapters 9 and 10 which explore issues related to both Israel and Islam respectively. Emery really sheds light on the deceptions pedalled by Muslims with regard to eschatology, bringing in a fascinating point of view as he does so.
Overall, this fantastic read is ideal for those who are growing into spiritual maturity and need to be alerted to the dangerous lies of the enemy.

'Waving Goodbye to Babylon' contains a feast of knowledge. The author has clearly done his homework on Babylon and on the idolatry it still represents.
By providing various intelligent arguments and a pinch of testimony, we are helped to understand why we would want to wave goodbye to both obvious and subtle idols in our lives.
If you are interested in embracing true freedom and/or helping others to do so, this is well worth a read.
Furthermore, this revised version packs an even stronger punch than the original. It is more tightly woven and focused.

I would like to recommend this book, "¿Sentiste que Dios se alejo de ti?" as an excellent resource for those on the path with God who have experienced moments of spiritual loneliness.
Brother Robert Emery, author of this book, addresses this topic with profound sincerity based on his experience and biblical foundations.
There are moments that seem to speak volumes, but you can find in this text a kind of extraordinary formula that helps you reflect and understand that God is real and is there; you just have to recognize and seek Him.
